Dr Chuanbo Chen is a associate professor in the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Renmin University of China. He holds a PhD from the School of Agricultural Economics at Huazhong Agricultural University. He teaches econometric and STATA and his interests encompass the applications of quantitative methods in micro datasets. His research interests also lie in the field of migration, risk, poverty and health care. In 2008 he was awarded an BA/ESRC Chinese Fellowship in conjunction with the Institute of development studies (IDS) to investigate the complex impacts of ill-health on household livelihoods.
